<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />ctty of New Brighton <br />April 27, 1982 <br /> <br />Motion by Harcus, seconded by Blomquist to continue <br />the public hearing on PL-l30 and PRD-34 until 7:35 p.m. <br />May 25, 1982. <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />council Business <br />No one was present to discuss the proposed <br />Comprehensive Park Plan. <br /> <br />The City Council discussed the proposed <br />Comprehensive Park Plan as well as the <br />need to obtain further input. <br /> <br />Motion by Benke, seconded by Janecek to <br />receive the Comprehensive Park Plan and to <br />refer the plan to the Planning Commission <br />for a public hearing on Hay 18, 1982 at <br />7:50 p.m. and to direct the Park Board to <br />work with the Planning Commission in conducting <br />that public hearing. <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />Motion by Blomquist, seconded by Schmidt <br />to waive the reading, hold the second reading <br />adopt and order publication of AN ORDINANCE <br />ArlliNDING SECTION 4-82 OF THE NEW BRIGHTON <br />CITY CODE CONCERNING SET-UP LICENSES. <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />Mr. Leonard Krumm, representing Christ the <br />King Church was present to discuss the <br />proposed plans for expansion of the church <br />and also explain the proposed drainage plan. <br /> <br />Syd McCashew, 749 22nd Avenue NW, stated <br />that he was concerned that the proposed <br />drainage plan would require the removal <br />of several trees and bushes which would <br />leave just a view of the asphalt parking <br />lot. <br /> <br />Dr. Z. L. Kimble stated that he did not <br />fully understand why the trees would have to <br />be removed and requested the Council to <br />continue action on the church request <br />until a better understanding could be <br />obtained. <br /> <br />Mr. Krumm stated that the elevation differences <br />on the property and the requirements of the <br />Rice Creek Watershed District require ponding <br />on the west side of the property. <br /> <br />-2- <br /> <br />Comprehensive Park <br />Plan <br />Report No. 82-110 <br /> <br />Set-Up License <br />ORDINANCE #494 <br /> <br />SP-l03, LP-124 <br />Christ the King <br />Church <br />Report No. 82-112 <br />RESOLUTION #2591 <br />
