<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />r' <br />r <br /> <br />COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS <br /> <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />Pursuant to notice thereof a regular meeting of the New <br />Brighton City Council was held Tuesday, June 8, 1982 <br />at 7:30 p.m. in the municipal building, 803 5th Avenue NW, <br />New Brighton, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Gregg Harcus, Councilmernbers Bob Benke, <br />Roger Blomquist, Jeanet'':e Janecek, Steve Schmidt <br /> <br />Absent: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Also <br />Present: <br /> <br />James Fornell, City Man~ger <br />John Grau, Acting Director of Finance <br />James Winkels, Director of Community Development <br />Joan Archer, City planner <br /> <br />Minutes <br />Motion by Janecek, seconded by Schmidt to approve the minutes <br />of May 25, 1982 as presented. <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />The Mayor with the consent of Council directed receipt of the <br />Planning Commission minutes of Ma7 18, 1982. <br /> <br />Special Order of Business <br />The Mayor with consent of the Council acknowledged the receipt <br />of the donation by Salem Baptist ~hurch. <br /> <br />Consent Agenda <br />Motion by Benke, seconded by Janecek to approve the following <br />items: <br /> <br />]. CnmlOlid,-ll"('d fund vO\w}lPrn (i9498-()91)49; 60981-6]051 <br />2. Liquor fund vouchers 18272-18364 <br />3. Authorize issuance of purchase order for payment <br />of senior citizens trip expenses. Report No. 82-146 <br /> <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />Public Hearing <br />The Mayor with consent of the Council directed <br />receipt of a letter from Richard Bury, applicant <br />for Walburn Industrial Park regarding withdrawal <br />of the preliminary plat application. <br /> <br />PL-124, Walburn <br />Report No. 82-145 <br />7:35 - 7:36 <br /> <br />No one was present in regard to the preliminary <br />plat PL-124. <br />
