<br />I <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />city of New Brighton <br />October 27, 1981 <br /> <br />The Mayor indicated that with the completion <br />of the restaurant addition and the City's <br />wine bar addition the City staff will monitor <br />the whole traffic situation in the area and <br />particularly regarding turning movements <br />from the shopping center and restaurant site. <br /> <br />Councilmember Schmidt stated that he was disclosing <br />that his law partner has represented Mr. Lee on <br />various items, however, was not involved with <br />this present subject and that on the basis of <br />this public disclosure was voting on this <br />present request. <br /> <br />Motion by Senden, seconded by Benke to waive <br />the reading and adopt a RESOLUTION MAKING <br />FINDINGS OF FACT AND APPROVING APPLICATION <br />FOR NON-CONFORMING USE VARIAt\ICE, NC-52. <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />Motion by Benke, seconded by Blomquist to <br />authorize issuance of a building permit <br />LP-12l subject to conformance with NC-S2 and <br />site and landscape plans signed and dated by <br />the applicant and City Planner. <br />S ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />Motion by Benke, seconded by Janecek to <br />waive the reading and adopt a RESOLUTION <br />SETTING REGIS'I'RATION FEES FOR MULTIPLE <br />DWELLINGS AS AUTIIORIZED BY CHAPTER THIRTEEN <br />OF THE NEW BRIGHTON CITY cnDE with the <br />insertion of four dollars ($4.00) as the <br />fee for each unit annually. <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - wotion carried <br /> <br />The Mayor with consent of the C01Jlncil <br />directed receipt of letters from Griffis <br />Incorporated and BTO Development Corp. <br />regarding a request for Council consideration <br />of a municipal development district for <br />development of an office/warehouse project. <br /> <br />Mr. Bell Thomas, representing BTO Development <br />Corp., was present. Mr. Thomas stated that <br />their proposal was to construct approximately <br />135,000 square feet of cornnercial-office/warehouse <br />space on the property.
