<br />.. . <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />-2- <br /> <br />6. <br /> <br />All garbage and refuse shall, prior to disposal, be kept in <br />tight non-absorbent containers which shall be kept covered <br />with close-fitting lids when filled, in storage or not in <br />continuous use. All garbage and refuse shall be disposed of <br />with sufficient frequency and in such a manner as to prevent <br />a nuisance. <br />Effective and approved measures shall be taken to prevent the <br />entrance, breeding, or presence on the premises of f1 ies, <br />roaches, insects, rodents, and all other vermin. <br />The floor surfaces in food warehouses in which food is stored, <br />or garbage or refuse is stored, or in toilet rooms, dressing <br />or locker rooms, and walk-in refrigerators shall be of smooth, <br />non-absorbent approved material. The walls and ceil ings of all <br />rooms shall be kept clean and in good repair. <br />All parts of the food warehouse and its premises shall be kept <br />neat, clean, and free of 1 itter and refuse. The exterior area <br />shall be kept free of litter, refuse, tall grass, and weeds. <br /> <br />7. <br /> <br />8. <br /> <br />9. <br /> <br />SECTION IV. Alternative Inspection and License Fees. <br /> <br />The health authority shall accept state or federal agency inspection re- <br />ports in lieu of local inspection, provided that upon app1 ication for <br />a food warehouse license or renewal thereof, app1 icant submits an inspec- <br />tion report by a state or federal agency for an inspection conducted within <br />thirty (30) days for a new license app1 ication and within the 1 icensing <br />period for renewal. In the event the said inspection report requests <br />corrective action, applicant for license or renewal shall include an af- <br />fidavit that the corrective action has been completed. Such 1 icense fees, <br />inspection report and affidavit (when required), shall be in 1 ieu of all <br />other food inspections, fees and requirements and a food warehouse I icens- <br />ed under these provisions shall be deemed to have fully complied with <br />the city code for food establ ishments. <br /> <br />Food warehouse 1 icenses shall not be renewed unless a state or federal <br />agency inspection report and affidavit (when required) is filed with <br />the renewal appl ication during each I icensing period. If the app1 ication, <br />inspection report and affidavit (when required) is not filed during the <br />renewal period and not supp1 ied within 30 days of a written request, the <br />health authority shall inspect for licensing, issue corrective instruc- <br />tions (if necessary) and upon compl iance with corrective orders, the <br />payment of a fee of $100, the 1 icense shall be issued. <br /> <br />SECTION V.
