<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />September 11, 1979 <br />City of New Brighton <br /> <br />The Mayor, with consent of the Council, directed <br />receipt and filing of the petition. <br /> <br />The following persons spoke in opposition: <br /> <br />Mr. James Alfs, 3007 16th Street NW <br />Ms. Diane Alfs, 3007 16th Street NW <br />Mr. Ronald Menzhuber, 3078 16th Street NW <br />Mr. Douglas Doherty, 1649 Stinson Blvd. <br />Mr. Mike Keefe, 1695 Valerie Lane <br />Mr. John Willette, 3006 16th Street NW <br />Mr. Steve LaPanta, 1739 Valerie Lane <br />Ms. Andria Nyberg, 3059 16th Street NW <br />Mr. Ron Nyberg, 3059 16th Street NW <br /> <br />Motion by Blomquist, seconded by Janecek to close the hearing. <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />After considerable discussion the Council acted in the following manner: <br /> <br />Motion by Werdouschegg to waive the reading and adopt a RESOLUTION <br />MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND APPROVING VARIANCE APPLICATION VN-211 <br />with the following amendments: <br /> <br />That item 113 under the "NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED" be amended to <br />read: <br /> <br />1. "That the variance request is for two equal lots, <br />74.49 feet in width each." <br /> <br />That 115 under the "NOW THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED" be amended <br />to read: <br /> <br />,2. "That both proposed lots have an area which exceed <br />the required 10,000 square foot by more than 20%." <br /> <br />Motion died for lack of a second. <br /> <br />Motion by Blomquist, seconded by Senden to waive the reading and <br />adopt a RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND APPROVING APPLICATION <br />FOR VARIANCE VN-21l. <br />4 ayes - 1 naye (Werdouschegg) - motion carried <br /> <br />Motion by Blomquist, seconded by Benke to waive the <br />reading and adopt a RESOLUTION APPROVING SUBDIVISION <br />OF CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />(generally north of 16th Street NW and south of <br />Valerie Lane). <br />4 ayes - 1 naye (Werdouschegg) - motion carried <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2246 <br /> <br />Mr. Da~e Ekegren, applicant, was present to answer <br />questions. <br /> <br />Wine License-Ekegren <br />9:46 - 9:48 <br /> <br />3 <br />
