Report No.09-094, Resolution No. 09-022, <br />approval ofa SitePlan to <br />allow axtstructionofa <br />City Planner Janice Gundlach reported the applicant is requesting a 45,000 square foot addition to the <br />45,000 SF <br />st "gewalChouse <br />existing manufacturing, warehouse and office facility. Councilmember Burg shared her opinion that the <br />input by the City Forester has been a influence tiunughout the City. Councilmember <br />provided positive <br />Phillips suggested amending our ordinance to include landscape requirementsin the fixture. Councilmember <br />Doffing reported screening was discussed at length at the recent planning commission meeting. Approval <br />was recommended by the planning commission subject to conditions. Councilmember Phillips suggested <br />allowing a building pemlit to be issued prior to the code amendments, in order to not delay construction. <br />Mayor Larson was hesitant to not follow proce tire, and asked the City Attorney for clarification. Mr. <br />LeFevere stated the building plans should be consistent with the current code. City Planner Gundlach <br />reported the applicant can submit their building,pennit application at any time; provided they include a <br />notation indicating their intended changes. <br />Motion by Councdmember Phillips, seconded by Councilmember Burg to adopt the resolution for <br />the requested site plan Approval subject to six conditions, and changing condition number three: <br />remove planning commission and. <br />And paragraph 11, changingubtrlittal to receivin�a building permit. <br />Item number five to include without removing 4 parking stalls and the addition of the curb <br />islands on the east length of parking, with the planting of 4 shade trees as recommended <br />2.
