A Certificate of Achievement for
Excellence in Financial Reporting is presented by the Government Finance Officers
Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) to government units whose
comprehensive annual financial reports (CAFRs) achieve the highest standards in
government accounting and financial reporting.
