Based on our meeting with you and your staff on June <br />2nd as well as our walk of the entire project site, we propose to assist with the following: <br />Topographic Survey- Includes expanding the westerly portion of the E.G. Rud & Sons, <br />Inc. survey on the extremely steep and wooded slope and securing Gopher 1 -Call private <br />utility information. Also includes "blending" and mapping the ASCII file for points in <br />both surveys. <br />Final Design- Design of a 12" watermain upgrade for trenchless installation either behind <br />the westerly curb line of Old Highway 8 or beneath the existing southbound lane. Also <br />includes the design of a trail from MH 8 to MH 11 (located in the SW quadrant of Old <br />IIighway 8 and CSAH 96). This trail is proposed for access to the City's existing <br />sanitary sewer manholes. Cross-sections will be prepared for the trail design along with a <br />Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP). Construction documents including <br />special provisions and bidding documents will also be prepared. <br />Bidding- Assist with advertising, preparation of any addenda, bid abstract preparation <br />and attend bid opening along with a recommendation on award of contract. <br />Exhibit I within the attached Agreement for Professional Services summarizes our proposed scope of <br />work. We estimate a total fee of $29,350.00. We propose to work on an hourly basis with a not -exceed <br />this amount. <br />The following is a proposed schedule if this proposal is accepted by the City: <br />Survey: ...........................................................................................
