Public Safety has now nun 73 marathons. <br />The last meeting for the summer of the Public Safety Commission will be held on Wed, June 24th at 6:30 <br />pm. Kate Richtman of the Ramsey County Attorney's Office will be speaking about juvenile justice issues. <br />Condolences were expressed to Fire Marshall Kip LaMotte and his family on the passing of his sister. <br />Councihnember Mary Burg <br />Councilmember Burg expressed her condolences to the LaMotte family. The Parks, Recreation & <br />Environmental Commission and the Cable Commission will not be meeting in July. The National League <br />of Cities will be holding their annual conference in November, council members were encouraged to <br />consider attending. Condolences were expressed to the family of long time New Brighton resident Gene <br />Skiba <br />Councilmember Sharon Doffing <br />Councilmember Doffing expressed her condolences to the LaMotte and Skiba families. It was reported that <br />her area of the City has been experiencing power outages, and encouraged residents to try to limit <br />simultaneous use of electric appliances. Councilmember Doffing asked businesses to register their AED <br />units with the City. <br />Adjournment riot <br />Motion by Councilmember Burg, seconded by Councilmember Phillips to adjourn the meeting.
