Sign Hierarchy • <br />The Signage Hierarchy page illustrates the five proto-typical signs for the Main Street <br />Village project. Where and how these 5 elements of the sign pian may be used, is <br />described in the table below. These are the permitted signs with the Main Street Village <br />area. <br />TYPE I DESCRIPTION I RESTRICTIONS <br />Includes signs, lighting, location limited to the corners of : <br />flower pots, and wrought 5th Avenue NW and Co. Rd. E2; and, <br />iron fencing, limestone - 5th Avenue NW and 6th Street NW. <br />pillars. Specific and complete sign plans for individual <br />signs must be submitted for city staff approval <br />prior to construction of signs. <br />Plans must show the proposed location, <br />appearance, size, materials, etc. for each sign. <br />'EWAY <br />Signs must be consistent with the character of <br />the signs shown on the "Entry Setting Design" <br />page of the Main Street Village sign plan. <br />Maximum Size is 28 Square Feet. <br />A numeric address sign <br />with "Main Street Village" location of Signs: <br />and street name. One Story Buildings: sign allowed only <br />above main building entrances. <br />Two Story Buildings: signs allowed on <br />ORESS upper level of each building either at the <br />corner of the facades or over main <br />INEL entrances. <br />Sign allowed over the main entrances only if <br />there is no Major Tenant sign (sign type C) over <br />the main entrance. <br />Signs must be consistent with the design and <br />character of the signs illustrated on the "Sign <br />Hierarchy" page of the Main Street Village sign <br />Plan. <br />11 <br />
