0 <br />• <br />August 11, 2009 Page 4 of S <br />5 Ayes, 0 Nays, Motion Carried <br />Commission Liaison Reports, Announcements and Upgates <br />City Manager -Dean Lotter <br />City Manager Lotter reported on the two superfund sites, Ramsey County is willing to work on getting deed <br />restrictions in place, possibly allowing for delisting of the sites towards the end of the year. <br />Councilmember Gina Bauman <br />Councilmember Bauman reported the EDC has not resound yet. Appreciation on was expressed to all <br />volunteers and City Staff for their dedicated service during the recent Stockyard Days celebration, ; <br />Councilmember David Phillins <br />Councilmember Phillips reported the Planning Commission will next meet August 18 , Councilmember <br />Doffing will attend the meeting in place of Councilmember Phillips. A vacancy on the Planning <br />Commission was announced, interested residents were encouraged to apply: <br />Mayor Larson <br />Mayor Larson reported over 140 National Night Out parties were registered. Appreciation was expressed to <br />Director Jacobson, and the Public safety staff and volunteers for the successful evacuation of Long Lake <br />park during a recent storm during Stockyard days. Minnesota Crosswalk Enforcement was conducted, 27 <br />traffic stops, and 2 citations were written, <br />Councilmember Mary Burg <br />Councilmember Burg attended the recent CTU cable commission meeting, they are looking for a location <br />to purchase or lease., City Manager Lotter has been working with CTV to see if New Brighton may have <br />a suitable facility, The recent P,atics, Recreation & Environmental commission included an update from the <br />engineering department related to the City's storm water procedures, along with an update from the <br />Freedom Skate park participants. <br />CouncilmemberSharon Doffing <br />Councilmember Doffing reported she would not be seeking reimbursement for travel expenses she incurred <br />as part of her involvement with Heart Safe. <br />Adiournment <br />Motion by Burg, seconded by Councilmember Phillip to adjourn the meeting. <br />5 Ayes, 0 Nays, Motion Carried <br />Meeting adjourned at 7:47 pm. <br />Commission LiAw <br />Reports, Announcement <br />and Updates <br />Adjournment <br />Meeting adjourned at7:47 <br />1M <br />
