;t1 <br /> of <br /> 4%NEW <br /> WffllGI{ION <br /> the city that works for you <br /> October 14, 2009 <br /> INFORMATIONAL MEETING ON THE PROPOSED <br /> RECONSTRUCTION OF SILVER LANE <br /> The City of New Brighton and the City of St. Anthony are proposing to upgrade Silver Lane <br /> from Silver Lake Road to 16th Avenue SW next year. The proposed project is the result of the <br /> poor condition of the road surface and numerous requests from residents to reconstruct the road <br /> to an acceptable service level. <br /> Silver Lane is a border street shared with the City of St. Anthony. St. Anthony will share in the <br /> design and reconstruction costs. <br /> You and your neighbors are invited to attend an informal informational meeting to learn about <br /> this proposed project and express your interests and concerns. The meeting will be held: <br /> 6:30 P.M.,THURSDAY,OCTOBER 29,2009 <br /> NEW BRIGHTON CITY HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br /> 803 OLD HIGHWAY 8 NW <br /> (651)638-2050 <br /> Your input at this meeting will be helpful to the Engineering Department who will prepare a <br /> Feasibility Report that will be presented to the City Council in November. The Feasibility Report <br /> will include the need for the project and estimated costs. <br /> The cost of the street replacement portion of the project is proposed to be paid for by the City of <br /> New Brighton, City of St. Anthony, Municipal State Aid Funds, and special assessments to the <br /> benefiting properties abutting the project. The assessment procedures will be explained at the <br /> informational meeting. There will be no assessment to residents for utility repair or replacement. <br /> If you are unable to attend this meeting and have any questions, please call (651)638-2050 or <br /> stop by the Engineering Department at City Hall. <br /> NEW BRIGHTON ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT <br />
