WHEREAS, Public Safety began utilizing the SARA model (Scanning, Analysis, Response, and <br />Assessment) to address the issues at Freedom Park. Public Safety shared a power point <br />presentation with council at their November 9th meeting that discussed the challenges, direct and <br />indirect accomplishments, data relating to calls for service, financial stewardship and 2010 and <br />beyond to Freedom Park, and <br />WHEREAS, the Council, at it's November 91h meeting, expressed appreciation for the work of <br />skateboarders, residents and several City departments in working together to remedy the negative <br />situations at the skateboard park. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE 1T RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of New Brighton to <br />hereby adopt the resolution to keep the skateboard park open at Freedom Park. <br />Adopted this 24th day of November, 2009. <br />is <br />ATTEST: <br />Daniel A.
