Johnson, Assistant to the City Managers" <br />CITY MANAGER'S APPROVAL: <br />No comments to supplement this report Comments attached <br />Recommendation: <br />At the beginning of each calendar year, the City Council makes appointments to various public <br />agencies. These appointments pertain to appointing a delegate and an alternate to represent the <br />City at the regular and special meetings of the specific public agencies. City staff is seeking <br />direction from the City Council regarding which members of the City Council should be <br />appointed to the various public agencies. <br />Legislative History: <br />In 2009, the following Councilmember's were appointed as the delegate or alternate to the following <br />public agencies: <br />League of Minnesota Cities Delegate: Steve Larson Alternate: David Phillips <br />Metro Cities Delegate: Steve Larson Alternate: Gina Bauman <br />Y Northwest Youth and Family Services: Delegate: Bob Jacobson <br />North Suburban Cable Commission: Delegate: Mary Burg Alternate: Steve Larson <br />North Metro Mayors Association: Delegate Steve Larson <br />Financial Impact: <br />None <br />Explanation: <br />The City Council makes appointments annually to the League of Minnesota Cities, Metro Cities, <br />Northwest Youth and Family Services, North Suburban Cable Commission, and North Metro <br />Mayors Association public agencies. These appointments pertain to appointing a delegate and an <br />alternate to represent the City at the regular and special meetings of these specific agencies.
