• <br />6. Assistance to the Client as expert witness in litigation arising from the <br />development of construction of the project. <br />7. Investigation involving detailed consideration of operation, maintenance and <br />overhead expenses; the preparation of manuals, rate schedules, earning and <br />expense statements; appraisals; and valuation and material audits or inventories <br />required for certification of force account construction performed for the <br />Client. <br />8. Preparation of applications and supporting documents for governmental grants <br />or advances for public works projects. <br />9. Plotting, computing and filing subdivision plats; staking of lots; related land <br />planning and partitioning functions. <br />10. Preparation of data, reports and supplementary information for submission to <br />regulatory agencies. <br />11. Revision of contract drawings after a definite plan has been approved by the <br />Client and redrawing of plans to show work as actually constructed. <br />12. Architectural, social -economic and environmental research, planning and other <br />interdisciplinary services related to an engineering project, <br />OWNERSHIP OF DOCUMENTS <br />Original documents, plans, design and survey notes represent the product of training, <br />experience and professional skill. Unless there is prior agreement to the contrary, they belong <br />to and remain the property of the Engineer who produced them, regardless of whether the <br />instruments were copyrighted or whether the project for which they were prepared is <br />executed. <br />The Owner may, at his expense, obtain reproducible copies of drawings and copies of other <br />documents, in consideration of which there will be mutual agreement that the Owner will use <br />them solely in connection with the specific project for which they were prepared. <br />
