E. Effective 1/1/2011 -After twenty (20) years of continuous employment each <br />employee shall be paid eleven percent (11%) over the employee's base rate. <br />ARTICLE XXI - OPTIONAL PAY SCHEDULE <br />21.1 Education Pay Incentive: Sergeants who possess a 4 year bachelor's degree will receive <br />an additional 5 % above the Sergeant base rate. Sergeants who possess a Masters degree <br />will receive an additional 7% above the Sergeant base rate. <br />ARTICLE XXII - WAGE RATES <br />22.1 Wage Rates Effective January 1, 2010 1/1/2010 (0%) <br />Start $6,016.26 <br />(90% of Top Sergeant Rate) <br />After 12 Months Continuous Service $6,350.49 <br />(95% of Top Sergeant Rate) <br />After 24 Months Continuous Service $6,684.71 <br />(Top Sergeant Rate) <br />Wage Rates Effective January 1, 2011 1/1/2011 (2%) <br />Start $6,136.59 <br />(90% of Top Sergeant Rate) <br />After 12 Months Continuous Service $6,477.50 <br />(95% of Top Sergeant Rate) <br />After 24 Months Continuous Service $6,818.40 <br />(Top Sergeant Rate) <br />22.2 Effective August 23, 2004, EMPLOYEES included in the UNION shall no longer <br />participate in the City's Performance Pay Program according to Section 12 of the City's <br />Employee Handbook. <br />22.3 Post -Retirement Wage contribution. Employees will contribute I% of their annual <br />income into a City -selected post retirement insurance program. <br />ARTICLE XXIII - EDUCATION AND LICENSE REIMBURSEMENT <br />23.1 The City shall directly pay or reimburse for any educational classes per Section 30 <br />(Tuition Reimbursement) of the City's Employee Handbook. <br />23.2 The EMPLOYER will pay P.O.S.T. License fees for all employees requiring such <br />license. <br />13 <br />
