RESOLUTION NO. <br />10-022 <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND APPROVING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT. <br />s, an application has been made by Abdallah Kadid to permit operation of an automotive <br />use that includes detailing, minor repair, brokerage, and sales at the existing building <br />at 833 3rd ST SW, Suite #1, and <br />iHEI I EAS, the procedural history of the application is as follows: <br />1. An application for a Special Use Permit was received on January 22, 2010. <br />2. he Planning Commission, pursuant to published and mailed notices, held a public hearing <br />February 16, 2010 and all present were given a chance to freely speak at the hearing. <br />3. 1 ff the applicant's request, the Planning Commission tabled action on the Special Use Permit <br />quest on February 16, 2010. <br />4.a applicant notified staff on February 26, 2010 of his intention to move locations to 833 3 a <br />SW from 855 3`a ST SW. <br />5.le <br />a Planning Commission, pursuant to published and mailed notices, held a public hearing <br />March 16, 2010 and all parties present were given a change to freely speak at the hearing. <br />6.a Planning Commission voted to recommend approval subject to conditions. <br />7. City Council considered the request on March 23, 2010. <br />htEA.EAs, the Planning Commission and City Council make the following Findings of Fact with <br />resp to the Special Use Permit (SP2010-001): <br />1. a property is zoned I-1, Light Industrial. <br />2. e property is guided in the Comprehensive Plan for Light Industrial. <br />3. e property is described as follows: <br />E 640 ft. The S 190 ft Mol of N''/z of SE Y< of NW '/< of Section 32 Township 30 Range <br />(that certain portion of the building addressed 833 SW Third Street Suite #1, consisting of <br />proximately 3,000 square feet, as measured from the outside walls of the premises to the <br />ter of the partition wall). <br />4. a applicant has proposed to operate an automotive services and sales business at the <br />5. ning Code Sections 5-240 (6) & (7) and 6-050 (2) indicate a Special Use Permit is <br />it aired for an automotive services and sales use. <br />6. a Planning Commission reviewed the proposal in accordance with the following Special <br />e Permit conditions of Zoning Code Section 8-130: <br />a.
