➢ Additional Compensation for police officers assigned as a detective or school resource <br />is officer—$13,095 per year <br />0 <br />The health insurance contribution in 2010 will remain the same for all non-union and union <br />employees. In 2010, the employer will contribute $560.00 per month for single health insurance, <br />$670.00 per month for single+l health insurance and $780.00 per month for family health <br />insurance coverage. Those employees that opt -out of the City's health insurance coverage will <br />receive $295.00 per month that may be applied to other benefits offered in the cafeteria plan or <br />received as additional compensation. The contract also provides for a re -opener to discuss health <br />insurance benefits for 2011. <br />Vacation: <br />The proposed contract adds three additional vacation steps for police officers that have been <br />with the City for 21, 22, and 23 years. The following is the language that has been added to <br />the proposed contract: <br />VACATION ACCRUAL <br />23.1 Each employee covered by this AGREEMENT will earn vacation leave as shown on the <br />table below. Members of L.E.L.S. Local 113 will only be <br />allowed to carry over 360 hours of vacation at the end of each calendar year.
