Special Use Permit )SUP) Criteria <br />A special use permit cannot be approved uNess the Planning Commission and City <br />Council find that the following criteria have been met. Please provide a response on <br />how/why you project mcets the below stated criteria. Use additional shorts if necessary, <br />and consult with the City Planner at the time of you Pre -Application Meeting as some items <br />may not be applicable for yam project. <br />t) That the establishment, maintenance, or operations of the special growl" not be <br />detrimental to or endanger the public health, safety, morals, comfort or general <br />welfare. <br />The proposed detached garage/accessory building will not be detrimental to or endanger <br />the public health, safety, morals, comfort or general welfare because no commands] or <br />home occupation activity will be conducted within the proposed detached <br />garage/accessory building. The main purpose is for personal use only and storage of <br />personal itnms. <br />2) That the special use will not be injurious to the use and enjoyment of other property <br />in the immediate vicinity for the purposes already permitted, nor substantially <br />diminish and impair property values within the neighborhood. <br />The special use proposed detached gmage/access ay building will be constructed in and <br />remain on the applicant property and will meet all New Brighton Zoning Requirements <br />for R-1 district in which the detached gmage/aaessory building will be located. <br />a) In reference to Sec. 4-040, Lot Standmds in an R-1 District <br />b) In reference to Sac. 4-530.
