Johnson, Assistant to the City Manager <br />CITY MANAGER'S APPROVAL: <br />No comments to supplement this report Ea- Comments attached <br />History: <br />The Stockyard Days festival Board is pleased to invite the City Council and community <br />members to the 30`h Annual Stockyard Days and 24`h Annual New London to New Brighton <br />Antique Car Run. The festival provides a great opportunity for neighbors and friends to gather, <br />celebrate New Brighton's colorful past, and demonstrate community pride. For City Council <br />review, a copy of this year's events calendar has been included in this packet. <br />The Stockyard Day Committee is in the process of putting together news releases and <br />information in local publications and on the City's website to let the community know about the <br />upcoming Stockyard Days events. In addition, the City will be posting temporary signage along <br />the main traffic areas in New Brighton to notify people of this year's event. The sign ordinance <br />does allow temporary signs for civic celebrations and events.
