Report No. 05- <br />201 <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Moore-Sykes, seconded by Council Member Doffing to <br />approve the consent agenda as presented. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nays, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Public Hearin2 <br />1. Consideration of amending Section 6-540 (2) of the Zoning Code to <br />permit buildings to be constructed up to 50,000 square feet with a <br />special use permit in the MX, Mixed Use district. Report No. 05- <br />202. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />The City Planner, Patrick Boylan gave some background information relating to <br />Beisswengers Hardware, offering some clarification on past action. The City Planner <br />outlined the Zoning code changes in detail. <br /> <br />Council Member Moore-Sykes questioned if Mr. Beisswenger and his architect were <br />in agreement with these terms. <br /> <br />The City Planner confirmed. <br /> <br />Council Member Burg questioned the manner in which the size of 50,000 square feet <br />as proposed in the Zoning Code was determined. <br /> <br />The City Planner stated that it was in order to control the type of development <br />permitted. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Hoffman, seconded by Council Member Moore-Sykes to <br />close the Public Hearing. <br /> <br /> <br />I Ayes - 0 Nays, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Hoffman seconded by Council Member Moore-Sykes to <br />waive the reading and adopt the attached Ordinance amending Section 6-540 (2) of <br />the Zoning Code and direct Staff to publish the text in the New Brighton Bulletin. <br /> <br />4. Consideration of <br />payment for 2005 Street. <br />Seal Coating Project 05- <br />2A. Rep:>rt No. 05-197. <br /> <br />5.
