Consider Approval of Resolution Adopting the Proposed <br />Maximum Tax Levy for Taxes Payable in 2006 and Setting the <br />Dates for the Truth in Taxation Hearing and Continuation <br />Hearing. Report No. 05-203. <br /> <br />Dan Maiers, Director of Finance outlined some of the changes between <br />2005 and 2006, in addition to setting the dates for the Truth in Taxation <br />hearing as December 5, 2005 at 7:30 pm, with the continuation hearing to <br />be held December 13, 2005. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Hoffman, seconded by Council Member Burg to adopt <br />the proposed maximum tax levy for taxes payable in 2006 and to set the date for the <br />truth in taxation hearing and continuation hearing. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nays, Motion Carried <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />2. Consider Approval of Resolution Adopting the Proposed <br />Maximum Tax Levies for Taxes Payable in 2006 for Bicentennial <br />Pond and Lake Diane Storm Watershed Management Districts. <br />Report No. 05-204. <br /> <br />Dan Maiers, Director of Finance, explained the City has 2 storm sewer <br />improvement districts; the funding for improvements or repairs is <br />obtained from parcels in the immediate area. <br /> <br />Council Member Mary Burg abstained from voting because she lives on <br />Bicentennial pond. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Moore-Sykes, seconded by Council Member <br />Hoffman to waive the reading and adopt the resolution adopting the <br />proposed maximum tax levies for taxes payable in 2006 for Bicentennial <br />pond and Lake Diane storm sewer improvement districts. <br /> <br />r Ayes - 1 abstention, Motion Carried <br /> <br /> <br />3. Consideration of Term Sheet with Ryan Companies US, Inc. for <br />development of a 55,000-square-foot office/warehouse building on <br />5th Ave. NW (post office annex). Report No. 05-205 <br /> <br />David Black, Assistant Community Developer gave an overview of the proposed <br /> <br />ouncil Business <br />1.
