Page 3 of 3 <br />affordable and life -cycle housing opportunities amount (ALHOA) for the preceding calendar year, agree <br />to spend that amount and the amount for the current year or distribute that amount to the LHIA <br />account. They must agree to continue to spend the ALHOA amount each year they participate in the <br />program. However, documenting expenditure of the ALHOA amount is not difficult. For most <br />communities, it is a relatively small amount, the guidelines on what can be counted as contributing to <br />that amount are flexible and the documentation is through a self-reported annual survey. <br />Any insights would be greatly appreciated.
