Three inquiries were received from the 122 notices sent out (many of them going to Applewood Point.) <br />The inquiries were related to concern with television and radio reception. City Planner Gundlach <br />reported generally this should not be an issue, as the frequencies are different. <br />Commissioner Nichols Matkaiti questioned the types of signals; Mr. Viera stated this would be wireless <br />internet system. <br />Verne Moore, residing at Applewood point, and serving on the Board reported there are no objections <br />from the residents at Applewood Pointe and support the recommendation. <br />Motion by Commissioner Zisla, seconded by Commissioner Schiferl to close the Public Hearing. <br />7-0 Motion carried <br />Motion by Commissioner Schiferl, seconded by Commissioner McPherson to approve staff <br />recommendation. <br />Chairperson Howard commented this seems to be a good place to install the antennas. <br />7-0 Motion carried <br />Announcements: <br />I* (A) Special Meeting w/City Attorney on September 16th - 6:00 pm start time <br />City Planner Gundlach reported the meeting will address The Open Meeting Law, the Land Use <br />Discretion Triangle, and thirdly discuss the opinion on the reasonable use standard for Variances. <br />Changes to the Zoning Code will be shared for consideration. <br />(B) Upcoming Land Use Requests by Belair Excavating: 2200 Old Hwy 8 NW <br />City Planner Gundlach reported it was determined to hold a neighborhood meeting to allow <br />commissioners and residents the opportunity to learn the history, and provide a time to address <br />questions. Commissioner Schiferl suggested a tour of the site would be beneficial. City Planner <br />Gundlach stated she will attempt to arrange a tour of the site. <br />Adjournment: 7:48 PM <br />
