CD Memo <br />October 8, 2010 <br />Page 2 <br />Scope of Services (cont.) <br />Task 2: Work with City Staff to structure and negotiate broker and(or <br />developer agreement. <br />a) Assist city staff and city attorney to structure agreement(s) that address, City, <br />broker and/or developer obligations and costs, scope of work to be performed <br />by broker and/or developer, formal and comprehensive marketing plan(s), <br />compensation, etc. <br />Estimated duration 2-3 months with consulting time of 20 to 40 hours. <br />Potential cost range: $4,400 to $8,800 <br />Tasks 3 & 4: Attend periodic meetings as requested by City and other <br />parties and advise the City on matters related to advertising <br />and public relations. <br />a) Assist City with periodic broker and/or developer meetings to review and <br />critique marketing pieces and to monitor and enforce the marketing activities <br />and other obligations of broker and/or development teams. <br />b) Meet with City officials periodically to advise, as necessary. <br />Estimated duration at pleasure and direction of City. <br />Potential cost range: TBD <br />Task 5: Assist City staff with qualifying, analyzing and evaluating specific <br />development and/or land sale proposals and transactions. <br />a) Meet with prospects, broker and/or development teams, requesting and <br />reviewing relevant prospect, specific deal, NWQ site related and market <br />information to qualify and evaluate proposals and/or land sale agreements to <br />help ensure that the City is spending time on qualified prospects and <br />obtaining the best possible pricing and terms available in the market..."know <br />your site, your competition and your customer'. <br />Estimated duration dependent on market/development activity and at pleasure and <br />direction of City. <br />Potential cost range: TBD <br />
