November 23, 2010 Page 5 of 5 <br />Gina Bauman <br />Councilmember Bauman reported the EDC met November 16th, and discussed the Stuart project <br />proposed for the Northwest Quadrant. It was also reported the name for the Northwest Quadrant <br />is still under review. Happy Thanksgiving wishes were extended. <br />David Phillips <br />Councilmember Phillips reported the Planning Commission met November 16th. The Drive thru <br />at 2200 Silver Lake Rd. was discussed and recommended. A work session followed the regular <br />meeting, where a comprehensive review of the zoning code took place. <br />Councilmember Phillips reported sales of Garage Door Monitors have been very brisk. <br />Mayor Jacobsen <br />Mayor Jacobsen reported a typographical error on Report No. 10-262. A fundraising luncheon <br />for Peace Maker Foundation will be attended by the Mayor December 2nd. Holiday wishes were <br />extended. <br />Mary Burk <br />Councilmember Burg reported the Parks, Recreation & Environmental Commission will be <br />meeting in December to continue their discussion on Geese Management. <br />Golf Operations Manager Ken Manthis was featured in the recent issue of Golf Business <br />magazine. <br />Char Samuelson <br />Councilmember Samuelson reported Santa Cop is currently accepting donations, last year 78 <br />families, 169 children were served through Santa Cop. The Public Safety Commission will meet <br />December 1St, the viscous dog ordinance will continue to be reviewed.
