ORDINANCE NO. <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDMENT <br /> RELATED TO GROSS FLOOR AREA STANDARDS <br /> FOR PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENTS <br /> IN THE NORTHWEST QUADRANT <br /> REDEVELOPMENT AREA <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON ORDAINS that the New <br /> Brighton Code of Ordinance is amended by amending City Zoning Code Section 7-230 <br /> (7) as follows: <br /> Section 7-230. Standards. <br /> (7) The maximum gross floor area for the sum of all buildings in a project shall not <br /> exceed 45 percent of the total land area in the planned unit development. For purposes of <br /> determining compliance with this provision, the first two aboveground floors of <br /> structures used exclusively for parking of vehicles shall not be included as part of the <br /> gross floor area of the development. Subject to approval of the City Council, the gross <br /> floor area may be increased for any new Planned Unit Development that is located in the <br /> area known as the Northwest Quadrant project area, as defined by the Northwest <br /> Quadrant Framework Plan approved by the City Council. <br /> Adopted this 11th day of January, 2011. <br /> Dave Jacobsen, Mayor <br /> ATTEST: Dean R.
