It was a huge success. <br /> The Professional Golf Association of America named Brightwood Hills <br /> Golf Course as one of the Play Golf America, Top 100 performers in <br /> 2010. Kudos to Ken Manthis. <br /> Brad Martens, Facilities Manager received the Minnesota Recreation and <br /> Parks Association(MRPA) Horizon Award at the MRPA Annual General <br /> Meeting in January. The award goes to an active MRPA member, with <br /> under 8 years of professional service, who is an"up and coming" <br /> professional that posses great leadership skills. <br /> Frischman inquired if the Parks, Recreation and Environmental <br /> Commission could be involved in creating priorities for the Pavement <br /> Management Program. We would like to have a voice and be able to a part <br /> of the process. <br /> It was suggested another park tour was due. <br /> The Commission discussed the possibility of getting the Commission back <br /> on cable. <br /> Burg stated that she does not think the Council will change their mind. <br /> Trevorrow stated that at the next meeting he would like to have bike trails <br /> on the agenda. The tour would be a good time to look at the bike routes <br /> and get some markings. <br /> Trevorrow also stated there was an e-mail some time ago with info on the <br /> accident on Silver Lake Road and Ramsey County was going to have <br /> another meeting. He wondered if they had a meeting and if there was any <br /> more information to share. <br /> Breuer stated she has not heard any more; she will look into this and report <br /> back to the Commission. <br /> IX. Adjourn <br /> MOTION BY DON HEINRICH, SECONDED BY JERED WEBER, TO ADJOURN <br /> THE MEETING AT 9:03 P.M. MOTION CARRIED. <br />
