Public Safety Commission <br /> March 30, 2011 <br /> Attending: Commissioner Kerns (Chair), Commissioner Allen, Commissioner Kroll, <br /> Commissioner Schumann, Commissioner Woods, Council Representative <br /> Phillips, Dave Matteson(Allina), and Director Jacobson <br /> Absent: Commissioner Bredenbeck, Commission Haring, Commissioner Tollefson <br /> Citizens: Long Nguyen, Terry Post <br /> Call to Order/Roll Call <br /> Commissioner Kerns called the meeting to order at 6:31 pm and roll call was taken. <br /> February Meeting Minutes <br /> The February meeting minutes were reviewed. Commissioner Allen motioned to accept the <br /> minutes; Commissioner Kroll seconded. Motion carried. <br /> Public Hearing/Presentations <br /> None scheduled. <br /> Updates <br /> CERT/Citizen Corps Council <br /> Director Jacobson reported we have re-registered as a Citizen Corps Council. If you check out <br /> their website, they are now concentrating on the flooding issues: www.citizencorps.gov <br /> Department Reports <br /> Human Rights <br /> Commissioner Woods and Commissioner Kroll attended the meeting in St. Cloud on Saturday, <br /> February 26, regarding reducing the daily number of juveniles going to the Juvenile Detention <br /> Center. <br /> The State League of Human Rights Commission will have a meeting here at the Public Safety <br /> Center on a Sunday in November. <br /> Allina Medical <br /> Mr. Dave Matteson reported that at the March 22nd Council meeting, they presented Officer <br /> Krebsbach and Officer Layton with Stork Awards for their assistance in delivering a baby. <br />
