Consideration of a vacation of a watermain and sanitary sewer easement located on <br />property lying within the Northwest Quadrant Redevelopment Area, generally <br />' located on the east side of Old Highway 8 NW, west of I -35W, south of 14`h ST NW <br />and north of I-694. Report No. 11-195. Resolutions 11-071 and 11-072. <br />City Planner Janice Gundlach reported that this request consists of the vacation of an existing <br />15' wide watermain easement and 10' wide sanitary sewer easement that lies on the east side <br />of Old Highway 8 NW, within the New Brighton Exchange redevelopment area. These <br />easements must be vacated to ensure clean recording of the NEW BRIGHTON EXCHANGE <br />IST ADDITION PLAT, which covers approximately 20 plus acres on the east side of Old <br />Highway 8 (i.e. the commercial sites). There are currently utilities lying within these easement <br />areas. All appropriate watermain and sanitary sewer utilities were relocated during the Old <br />Miller Dump Closure and appropriate easement are proposed for dedication with the NEW <br />BRIGHTON EXCHANGE 11T ADDITION final plat. <br />Motion by Councilmember Burg, seconded by Councilmember Bauman to open the Public <br />Hearing. <br />Mayor Jacobsen opened the Public Hearing at 6:45 pm. <br />Mayor Jacobsen asked for additional comments, there were none <br />Motion by Councilmember Bauman, seconded by Councilmember Phillips to close the Public <br />Hearing. <br />5 Ayes, 0 Nays -Motion carried <br />The Pubic Haring was closed at 6:45 pm. <br />Motion by Councilmember Phillips, seconded by Councilmember Burg to adopt the <br />attached resolution approving the vacations of the 15 foot wide watermain easement <br />generally located on the east side of Old Highway 8 within the New Brighton <br />Exchange Redevelopment area. <br />5 Ayes, 0 Nays -Motion carried <br />Motion by Councilmember Phillips, seconded by Councilmember Burg to adopt the <br />attached resolution approving the vacations of the 10 foot wide sanitary sewer easement <br />generally located on the east side of Old Highway 8 within the New Brighton <br />' Exchange Redevelopment area. <br />Page 3 of 5 <br />Public Hearing <br />1.
