None <br /> V. Old Business <br /> A. Open Meeting Law- Charlie LeFevere <br /> City Attorney, Charlie LeFevere, spoke to the Commission on the Open <br /> Meeting Law. <br /> LeFevere first gave information on complying with the meeting law and <br /> then gave information about what constitutes a meeting. <br /> Some handouts were given to Commissioners: <br /> 1. Open Meeting Law Defense Coverage <br /> 2. Part III. The Open Meeting Law from the League of Minnesota Cities <br /> 3. Minnesota Statute. Meetings of Public Bodies, Chapter 13D Open <br /> Meeting Law <br /> 4. Electronic Communications between Council Members <br /> B. Silver Oaks Park- Basketball Court <br /> Some of the discussion about this item included: <br /> • Should the court be moved to the lower portion or another part of <br /> the park? <br /> • What is it that the petitioners want? <br /> • Should the ball/soccer field be made larger so that it is no longer a <br /> shared field? <br /> • Commissioners wanted to revisit this item when they have <br /> gathered all information to help them make a decision from <br /> residents on both sides of the issue, police reports and maps. <br />
