Roll Call <br /> Members Present: Commissioners Fields, Frischman, Kunesh-Podein, Lundberg, <br /> Nguyen, Parker, Trevorrow, Weber, Council Liaison David Phillips, Assistant Director of <br /> Parks and Recreation, Jason West <br /> Members Absent: Commissioner Jacobsen <br /> Also Present: Residents Lisa and John Taft, Lori Green and Richard Myslajek <br /> III. Minutes of October 5, 2011 <br /> MOTION BY WEBER, SECONDED BY LUNDBERG, TO APPROVE THE <br /> OCTOBER 5, 2011 MINUTES AS SUBMITTED. MOTION CARRIED. <br /> IV. Correspondence <br /> A. None <br /> V. Old Business <br /> A. Goose Mitigation <br /> Jason West, Assistant Director of Parks and Recreation gave a power point <br /> presentation with history and timeline of the goose mitigation program. <br /> Egg addling was done this past spring, but no nests were located. <br /> John and Lisa Taft, residents that were involved with the egg addling <br /> program informed the Parks, Recreation and Environmental Commission <br /> of the work they have done since the spring of 2011. <br /> • Met with Lakeside Park owners; they agreed we could do egg <br /> addling on that property this coming spring. <br /> • Met with some residents around Forestdale pond about possibly <br /> doing an egg addling program at that site. <br /> Frischman stated that the Parks, Recreation and Environmental <br /> Commission would make a recommendation to Council and Council <br /> would then make a decision. <br /> Council Member Phillips thought the recommendation should go to the <br /> Council at least by February. <br /> 1 <br />
