Call to Order The meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m. by Chair Frischman. II. Roll Call Members Present: Commissioners Fields, Frischman, Kunesh-Podein, Lundberg, Nguyen, Parker, Weber, Council Liaison Samuelson(for Council Liaison Phillips) Also Present: Chris Wolla, Parks Superintendent Members Absent: Commissioner Trevorrow III. Minutes of November 2, 2011 Weber asked if we actually passed a motion regarding egg addling. Frischman stated no. The November minutes will need to be corrected. There was a motion, but there was no second and we did not vote on it. The concept was that we were going to further the discussion into the January or February meeting with the idea we would get a formal recommendation from this Commission to go to Council by March. Weber said we also talked about having someone write up a motion so we had something to work off of. Frischman said, yes, we will have Sandy make those changes in the minutes. The minutes of November 2, 2011, page 6, will be amended as follows: MOTION BY WEBER, SECONDED BY LUNDBERG, THAT WE HAVE SOMEONE.WRITE THIS UP AND THEN PRESENT IT AT THE JANUARY MEETING AND WE CAN WORK WITH IT THEN. MOTION CARRIED. MOTION BY WEBER, SECONDED BY FIELDS, TO APPROVE THE CHANGES TO BE MADE IN THE NOVEMBER 2, 2011 MINUTES. MOTION CARRIED. IV. Correspondence A. None Scheduled V. Old Business A. None Scheduled VI. New Business A. None Scheduled VII. Trails, Bike and Walk-ways A. Discussion Frischman requested a formalized recommendation to take to the Council regarding Trails, Bike and Walk-ways. Discussion centered around Hwy 96. Parker opened the Ramsey County, Public Works website. The information stated that the Hwy. 10 and Hwy. 96. Construction will start in 2013. 1
