The current drawdown measurement is done with a manually
read air line. With each well maintenance period, these air lines need to be replaced. The drawdown transducer
will last longer, be more accurate and not require an operator to be in the well house to take the water level
reading.
All work shall be completed prior to May 1,2012.
Costs and Funding: The cost for the maintenance work on Well 5 will be paid from the Army 20 year operation
and maintenance fund. The cost for the maintenance work and installation of drawdown transducers on Well 12
will be paid from the Water Utility fund.
/6.)
Grant Wyffels
Director of Public orks
Attachment—Bid Tabulations Wells 5 and 12
