March 27,Page 6 of 6 <br /> Commission Liaison <br /> Reports, <br /> Commission Liaison Reports, Announcements and Updates Announcements and <br /> Dean Lotter Updates <br /> City Manager Lotter reported that he is contionuing to move forward in three litigious matters <br /> regarding a land use issue, an employee issue and thirdly an issue related to the relationship <br /> with the Army. Mr. Lotter reported Town Hall evaluations were mostly favorable, and a <br /> detailed report will be distributed to the council. <br /> Gina Bauman <br /> Councilmember Bauman reported that she is looking forward to continuing serving as liaison <br /> to the Planning Commission. <br /> Mary Burg <br /> Councilmember Burg reported that Sergeant John Kaiser retired March 17, 2012. The Public <br /> Safety Volunteer Appreciation Dinner will be May 5, 2012 at the New Brighton Community <br /> Center. Robert Allen was recommended as Chairperson to the Public Safety Commission <br /> through 2013. The recent CPY benefit lunch raised $18,500 including matching funds from <br /> CPY Board Members. <br /> Char Samuelson <br /> Councilmember Samuelson reported that she enjoyed her time on the Economic Development <br /> Commission, and thanked the Commission for their diligent work. <br /> Mayor Jacobsen <br /> Mayor Jacobsen reported that he recently toured The View Apartments, noting the views of <br /> Long Lake are exceptional.
