1 ' <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 653 <br /> State of Minnesota <br /> County of Ramsey <br /> City of New Brighton <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 5-220 AND 5-240 OF THE NEW BRIGHTON <br /> ZONING ORDINANCE TO ESTABLISH AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE STATION; SERVICE <br /> STATION; SERVICE GARAGE AND CONVENIENCE GASOLINE ESTABLISHMENTS AS <br /> A USE ALLOWED BY SPECIAL PERMIT IN t'HE B-3,GENERAL BUSINESS DISTRICT. <br /> 1 j <br /> • <br /> :THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON DOES ORDAIN AS <br /> FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1. Section 5-220 of the Zoning Code of the City of New Brighton, is hereby amended <br /> 1 as follows: <br /> fl <br /> I'SECTION 5-220. PERMITTED USES,B-3 DISTRICT. <br /> F <br /> a. All uses permitted in the B-1 and B-2 business districts. <br /> b. The sale of food and beverages of all kinds, including sale for consumption on the <br /> ipremises. <br /> • <br /> c. The sale of general merchandise, including sale in department stores. <br /> d. The sale of apparel of all kinds. <br /> e. The sale of furniture and household goods, including furniture and accessory furniture1. <br /> storage. <br /> f. The sale of other goods and merchandise. <br /> g. Eating places of all types. <br /> h. Service establishments: Service establishments permitted in a neighborhood business <br /> district without limitation on the number of persons engaged in such work or business; <br /> I research laboratory,radio or television station,telephone exchange or transformer station, <br /> � provided all buildings and structures except fences and barriers are located not less than <br /> fifty(50)feet from a residence district; clinic,hospital, sanitarium,convalescent home, <br /> rest home,nursing home, orphanage and similar institutions provided that all main <br /> I, buildings are not less than fifty(50) feet from any adjoining premises in a residence <br /> district not used for a similar purpose; cat and dog hospitals or pet shops provided that <br /> noise and odors are effectively confined to the premises. <br /> i. Business offices and services; in addition to the uses permitted in neighborhood business <br /> I districts; office buildings banks, business colleges, private trade schools. <br /> i; <br /> sleeps} <br /> kj Parking lot, when such lot is principal use of a premises. <br /> 1:k.
