Public Safety Commission <br /> March 26, 2012 <br /> Attending: Commissioner Allen, Commissioner Benke, Commissioner Donohue, <br /> Commissioner Hollimon, Commissioner Kroll, Commissioner Lamp, <br /> Commissioner Schumann, Commissioner Woods, Council Member Burg, <br /> Director Jacobson, and Dave Matteson and Mike Pintar—Allina Medical <br /> Absent: Commissioner Bredenbeck <br /> Call to Order/Roll Call <br /> Commissioner Allen called the March meeting to order at 6:32 pm and roll call was taken. <br /> February Meeting Minutes <br /> The February meeting minutes were reviewed. Commissioner Hollimon motioned to accept the <br /> minutes; Commissioner Donohue seconded. Motion carried. <br /> Public Hearing/Presentations <br /> A. Allina Medical Operations <br /> Mr. Mike Pintar and Mr. Dave Matteson, Allina Medical, conducted a presentation on Allina <br /> Medical operations for the Commission. Mr. Pintar talked about how New Brighton sits <br /> perfectly in the north metro area of Allina coverage. Response time data for New Brighton <br /> ambulance calls were reviewed. <br /> Mr. Pintar and Mr. Matteson spoke about Allina Medical's new location in Mounds View; at <br /> County Road 10 and Woodale. There will be an Open House on April 24th. Allina is very <br /> excited about their new location as they now have more room for supplies, vehicles, etc. They <br /> now have a training room and new, updated equipment; such as their new state of the art <br /> medication storage/dispensing machine. <br /> Updates <br /> A. Citizen Corps Council <br /> Director Jacobson reported the Volunteer Appreciation Dinner is scheduled for May 6th <br /> Department Reports <br /> A. Human Rights <br /> Commissioner Kroll reported the MN League of Human Rights Commissions met last Sunday <br /> and had a productive meeting. They are still planning a summer or fall event with MN <br /> Department of Human Rights which will focus on working constructively with city governments. <br /> Commissioner Kroll reported collaboration among Northern Ramsey County Commissions <br /> which includes Roseville, Shoreview, Falcon Heights, Maplewood and in the future,New <br /> Brighton. The Northern Ramsey County Commissions will co-sponsor a program on Elder <br />
