Agreement to Provide Human Resources Services <br /> This Agreement is made as of May 22, 2012, by and between the City of New <br /> Brighton, a Minnesota municipal corporation, and the City of St. Anthony Village a <br /> Minnesota municipal corporation. <br /> RECITALS <br /> A. The City of New Brighton currently has staff that provides human <br /> resources and other similar services to New Brighton; and <br /> B. New Brighton has determined that, in addition to providing human <br /> resources services for itself, its staff has time to provide certain similar services to St. <br /> Anthony Village on a part-time basis; and <br /> C. Both parties can benefit from New Brighton providing these services to St. <br /> Anthony Village; and <br /> D. The parties desire to enter into this Agreement setting forth the terms by <br /> which New Brighton will perform the services on behalf of St. Anthony Village; and <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants and conditions <br /> set forth below, the parties agree as follows: <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> 1. SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> 1.1 The primary contact and staff person from New Brighton who will provide <br /> services to St. Anthony Village will be New Brighton's Assistant to the City <br /> Manager, Schawn Johnson. <br /> 1.2 New Brighton will provide human resources, safety and loss control management <br /> services to St. Anthony Village on an as-needed basis and as requested by St. <br /> Anthony Village. Such services may include, but are not limited to, the handling <br /> of day-to-day human resources inquiries and review of the St. Anthony Village <br /> employee handbook and other employee policies. <br /> 1.3 It is expected that New Brighton will provide approximately 4 (four) to 8 (eight) <br /> hours of services per week to St. Anthony Village. St. Anthony will assign work <br /> to New Brighton on a project basis, subject to the approval of both parties before <br /> services are rendered. <br /> 1.4 Mr. Johnson and other New Brighton staff providing services will consult with <br /> Mark Casey, St. Anthony Village City Manager, or designee, as needed to <br /> efficiently and effectively complete projects assigned by St. Anthony Village. <br /> 400589v1 MDTNE136-242 1 <br />
