N1�V Report Number 12-151 <br /> Agenda Section VII-1 <br /> the city tht works for Council Meeting Date June 26, 2012 <br /> REQUEST FOR COUNCIL CONSIDERATION <br /> ITEM DESCRIPTION: Consideration of a vacation of a 10' sanitary sewer easement per Document <br /> No. 1581803 lying within 755 4th Street NW. <br /> DEPARTMENT HEAD'S APPROVAL: Grant Fernelius, Community Development Director <br /> CITY MANAGER'S APPROVAL: <br /> No comments to supplement this report SWS Comments attached <br /> Recommendation: Adopt the attached Resolution approving the vacation of a 10' sanitary sewer <br /> easement described in Document No. 1581803 but only that part lying within 755 4th Street NW. <br /> Legislative History: None <br /> Financial Impact: Not applicable <br /> Explanation: This request consists of the vacation of an existing 10' sanitary sewer easement that is <br /> located within 755 4th Street NW and described in Document No. 1581803. This easement runs <br /> underneath the existing building and does not contain any utilities. Previous sections of this easement to <br /> the south were vacated in 1992. The existing property owner is attempting to sell the property and is <br /> requesting the vacation in an effort to move towards a closing. Public Works staff investigated and <br /> determined no public utilities exist within the portion of the easement lying within 755 4th Street NW. <br /> As such, Public Works recommends the vacation.
