City Manager Lotter indicated he has been working with the finance staff and the commtmity Center <br /> public works director to create presentation on this item. Parking Lot.ReportNo. <br /> Public Works Director Wyffels gave a presentation to the Council on the Phase I Freedom Park Flood 12-165 <br /> Mitigation Improvements. He explained the Council ordered the project in April and authorized staff to <br /> prepare plans and specifications. Staff has since prepared the plans which needed approval from the Council Public Hearing <br /> this evening. After approval,the City would seek bids and award a contract on August 15,2012 with Council Business <br /> construction beginning for the project in September of this year. Public Works Director Wyffels commented 1.Consideration of <br /> the entire project would take place in the Pike Lake drainage area which had a 667 acre parcel/watershed that Approval of the Plans and <br /> drains to Pike Lake. He then discussed theplans for the futurephases in further detail. The improvements specifications and <br /> p Authorization to Advertise <br /> would assist in addressing the 100 year storm while storm sewer pipes would be upsized.
