He stated he would be discussing the <br /> matter further with the Council at a future work session. He noted the City hired office.gov to <br /> audit the City's webpage as the City's website was in need of updates to create a more user- <br /> friendly platform. He indicated staff has been researching urban farming and information <br /> would be provided to the Council in this Friday's staff memo. He commented in August the <br /> City would be meeting with the Army to discuss the City's water. After August,he would <br /> provide the Council with a memo on these discussions. <br /> Gina Bauman <br /> Councilmember Bauman reported she attended the recent Planning Commission meeting and <br /> noted the Cable Commission meeting was meeting this Thursday. <br /> Mary Burg <br /> Councilmember Burg reported she looked forward to the urban farming discussion. She noted <br /> the Pirates of Penzance was still showing at the Mounds View Community Theater. She <br /> indicated New Brighton was celebrating 125 years of being a City and encouraged residents to <br /> take part in this years' Night to Unite. <br /> Char Samuelson <br /> Councilmember Samuelson reported Pirates of Penzance was showing Wednesday through <br /> Sunday, and was a wonderful show. She encouraged New Brighton residents to participate in <br /> Night to Unite on August 7th. All neighborhood parties could be registered through the City <br /> and Officer Hamdorf. <br /> Paul Jacobsen <br /> Councilmember Jacobsen reported the EDC canceled their meeting last week. He noted <br /> Stockyard Days would be running August 5th through August 13th. The parade would take <br /> place on August 9th. He thanked City Manager Lotter for reviewing the City's website and for <br /> proceeding with an audit. He welcomed the changes and improvements that would take place. <br /> Mayor Jacobsen <br /> Mayor Jacobsen looked forward to Night to Unite and Stockyard Days in the City of New <br /> Brighton. <br />
