RESOLUTION NO. 12- <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> RESOLUTION DECLARING COSTS TO BE ASSESSED, ORDERING PREPARATION OF <br /> PROPOSED ASSESSMENTS, AND SETTING DATE FOR ASSESSMENT HEARING ON <br /> PROJECT 11-1,2011 STREET REHABILITATION <br /> WHEREAS, Public Improvement Project 11-1, 2011 Street Rehabilitation, was ordered by the City <br /> Council of the City of New Brighton at a Public Improvement Hearing,noticed,and held as required by law; <br /> WHEREAS,the total final project cost is$1,573,308.81. <br /> WHEREAS,said improvement project is now completed so that the cost thereof can be special assessed. <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of New Brighton, Minnesota <br /> that: <br /> 1. The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be$85,848.82. <br /> 2. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall forthwith calculate the proper <br /> amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot,place, or parcel <br /> of land within the district affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law and shall <br /> file a copy of such proposed assessments in his office for public inspection. <br /> 3. The Clerk shall,upon completion of such proposed assessment,notify the Council thereof. <br /> 4. That a public hearing on the proposed assessment be set for September 25, 2012, at 6:30 p.m. in <br /> the City of New Brighton City Council Chambers at 803 Old Highway 8 NW, New Brighton, <br /> Minnesota. <br /> 5.
