Senior Expo for adults 55+ at the <br /> New Brighton Community Center. <br /> Legislative History: <br /> None <br /> Financial Impact: <br /> None <br /> Explanation: <br /> An exhibitor event will take place at the New Brighton Community Center on Thursday, <br /> September 27 from 1:00 pm—5:00 pm to provide adults 55+community access to local health <br /> opportunities and senior services. The event will include senior services vendors, wellness <br /> vendors, SilverSneakers representation, light refreshments and prize giveaways. The event is <br /> being marketed through the use of news releases, direct mailings, CTV, social media, the city <br /> website and city publications. <br /> From September 19-September 27, the temporary signage will be placed along the main traffic <br /> areas to further promote Thrive!. The sign ordinance in the Zoning Code Policy 9-040, (2)F <br /> allows for temporary signs for civic celebrations and events.
