RESOLUTION No. <br /> 12- <br /> CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING WITH RAMSEY COUNTY SHERIFF'S <br /> OFFICE FOR RAMSEY COUNTY AUTO THEFT PREVENTION COLLABORATIVE INITIATIVE <br /> WHEREAS,the City of New Brighton values a sense of safety and security throughout our community; <br /> WHEREAS,the Minnesota Auto Theft Prevention Program is intended to reduce motor vehicle theft and <br /> its effects on victims in the State of Minnesota; <br /> WHEREAS,the New Brighton Department of Public Safety has partnered with other local law <br /> enforcement agencies to form the Ramsey County Auto Theft Prevention Collaborative Initiative <br /> (ATPCI); <br /> WHEREAS, the Minnesota Department of Commerce Division of Insurance Fraud Prevention has <br /> awarded grant funding from the Minnesota Auto Theft Prevention Program to the Ramsey County <br /> ATPCI; <br /> WHEREAS, a Resolution is required for participation and receipt of funds: <br /> Now THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED,THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SAFETY IS AUTHORIZED TO ENTER INTO <br /> A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING WITH THE RAMSEY COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE FOR THE GRANT. <br /> Adopted this 911' day of October, 2012 <br /> Dave Jacobsen, Mayor <br /> Dean R.
