Director of Community Development Fernelius commented Colliers and Ryan would both have access to this document. The information could then be shared as developers come forward. Commission Liaison Commission Liaison Reports,Announcements and Updates Apo , Annnouunncements and Updates Dean Lotter City Manager Lotter reported the Council discussed going to a paperless packet this evening at a worksession meeting. Staff would be gathering further information and would report back to the Council on this issue in October. He mentioned there would be a countywide meeting this week regarding the fiber network. This network would be an asset to the City of New Brighton. He commented on Friday he would be touring all City parks with the Parks Committee. It was noted the Director at CPY has changed. Also, the drainage pond and parking lot at City Hall was under construction at this time. He anticipated the parking lot would be completed in three weeks. Staff then reviewed several other reconstruction projects that were taking place in the City, including the improvements at Freedom Park. Gina Bauman Councilmember Bauman noted the Planning Commission met last Tuesday, September 18th and discussed new signage at the Irondale High School. She reviewed this information in further detail on how the signs would be replaced/relocated. She indicated the Area Historical Society would be holding their 16th Annual Harvest Dinner on Sunday, October 14th at the 1:00 p.m. at the Eagle's. Mary Burg Councilmember Burg noted the EDC did not meet this month. She indicated the EDC would meet again on October 16th Char Samuelson Councilmember Samuelson reported the Public Safety Committee met this past month and four representatives from Allina Health were present to discuss the ambulance services provided to New Brighton residents. She explained on October 22nd a Fire Division Open House would be held at the Public Safety Center. The Taste of Northwest Event would be held on this Thursday, September 27, 2012. Tickets would be available at the door. Paul Jacobsen Councilmember Jacobsen reported that the Thrive 55 Senior Expo would take place on Thursday, September 27, 2012 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Community Center. He encouraged those 55 and older to attend this wonderful event. He noted the next Park and Recreation meeting would be held on Wednesday, October 3, 2012. Those interested in serving on this committee were encouraged to contact City Hall for further information. He noted the CPY Gala would take place on October 26th at the Community Center. Mayor Jacobsen Mayor Jacobsen had nothing to report this evening.
