Legislative History: The original AUAR was adopted by the City on January 14, 2003. In 2007, the AUAR was updated and approved by the City on October 23, 2007. In 2012, the City ordered an update of the document to reflect changes that have occurred since 2007. Financial Impact: None Explanation: The City Council authorized an update to the AUAR for New Brighton Exchange on May 22, 2012. Staff worked during the summer in collecting, analyzing, and writing various sections of the updated AUAR. In early September,the draft AUAR was sent to the Environmental Quality Board (EQB) distribution list. The City received comments from three agencies (MnDOT, Met Council, and MPCA). Staff reviewed those comments with the City Council on September 25, 2012 then incorporated relevant agency comments in the final document. The final version of the AUAR was mailed out to the respective agencies in late September 2012, consistent with Minnesota's rules for updating an AUAR. There has been no objection by any agency on the City's final AUAR. The EQB has requested that the City provide them with a short note once the City adopts the final document.
