Page 2 of 2 Council Report City Project 12-3, 2012 Pavement Management Plan City Project 12-8,New Brighton Exchange—Street&Trail Paving Explanation: City Project 12-3 consists of the following: • City Hall parking lot, Veterans Park trail, and Golden Pond dredrinc The City reconstructed the existing parking lot. Additional improvements included curb and gutter replacement, and stormwater improvements required by the watershed district. The City provided a 2-inch overlay on the existing trails and dredged/disposed of accumulated sediment in Golden Pond. • Meadow Wood Park hard court The City provided a 2-inch overlay on the existing basketball court. • Driftwood Park East parking lot The City reconstructed the existing parking lot. Additional improvements included curb and gutter replacement, and stormwater improvements required by the watershed district. • Hansen Park East Srh Street parking lot The City reconstructed the existing parking lot. Additional improvements included curb and gutter replacement, and stormwater improvements required by the watershed district. • Well#8 and Control Valve Station parking lots The City provided a 2-inch overlay on the existing paved areas. City Project 12-8 consists of the following: According to the Subdivision Agreement between Stuart Companies and the City of New Brighton, the City shall install and pay for the following: A. Final lift of bituminous paving on Northwest Parkway in front of Property. B. Final lift of bituminous paving on Central Park Boulevard. C. 8' bituminous trail located in Outlot A. D. Paver half circle in Outlot A. E. Outlot A landscaping,decorative pylons, and irrigation adjacent to Northwest Parkway. F. All landscaping of the center median on Central Park Boulevard per the Kimley-Horn Plan dated 4/11/06. This portion of the project includes all work associated with paving as shown in Items A, B and C. Costs and Funding: City Project 12-3 will be funded from a combination of Pavement Management Funds, Storm Water Improvement Funds, Water Improvement Funds, the Army 20 Year Operation and Maintenance Funds. City Project 12-8 of the New Brighton Exchange will be paid for by the respective TIF Districts. The provisions of the contract with Peterson Companies, Inc. stipulate that the City makes a partial payment to the contractor at least once each month at regular intervals on the basis of the work performed during that preceding month.
