Page 2 of 2 <br /> Council Report <br /> City Project 12-3, 2012 Pavement Management Plan <br /> City Project 12-8,New Brighton Exchange—Street&Trail Paving <br /> Explanation: <br /> City Project 12-3 consists of the following: <br /> • City Hall parking lot, Veterans Park trail, and Golden Pond dredrinc <br /> The City reconstructed the existing parking lot. Additional improvements included curb and gutter <br /> replacement, and stormwater improvements required by the watershed district. The City provided a 2-inch <br /> overlay on the existing trails and dredged/disposed of accumulated sediment in Golden Pond. <br /> • Meadow Wood Park hard court <br /> The City provided a 2-inch overlay on the existing basketball court. <br /> • Driftwood Park East parking lot <br /> The City reconstructed the existing parking lot. Additional improvements included curb and gutter <br /> replacement, and stormwater improvements required by the watershed district. <br /> • Hansen Park East Srh Street parking lot <br /> The City reconstructed the existing parking lot. Additional improvements included curb and gutter <br /> replacement, and stormwater improvements required by the watershed district. <br /> • Well#8 and Control Valve Station parking lots <br /> The City provided a 2-inch overlay on the existing paved areas. <br /> City Project 12-8 consists of the following: <br /> According to the Subdivision Agreement between Stuart Companies and the City of New Brighton, the City shall <br /> install and pay for the following: <br /> A. Final lift of bituminous paving on Northwest Parkway in front of Property. <br /> B. Final lift of bituminous paving on Central Park Boulevard. <br /> C. 8' bituminous trail located in Outlot A. <br /> D. Paver half circle in Outlot A. <br /> E. Outlot A landscaping,decorative pylons, and irrigation adjacent to Northwest Parkway. <br /> F. All landscaping of the center median on Central Park Boulevard per the Kimley-Horn Plan dated <br /> 4/11/06. <br /> This portion of the project includes all work associated with paving as shown in Items A, B and C. <br /> Costs and Funding: City Project 12-3 will be funded from a combination of Pavement Management Funds, <br /> Storm Water Improvement Funds, Water Improvement Funds, the Army 20 Year Operation and Maintenance <br /> Funds. City Project 12-8 of the New Brighton Exchange will be paid for by the respective TIF Districts. <br /> The provisions of the contract with Peterson Companies, Inc. stipulate that the City makes a partial payment to <br /> the contractor at least once each month at regular intervals on the basis of the work performed during that <br /> preceding month.
