My <br /> preferences are as follows; 1. Planning Commission, 2. Economic Development Commission, <br /> or 3. Park,Recreation and Environmental Commission. <br /> I have long wished to serve the city of New Brighton but until recently was not fully in control of my <br /> schedule. I recently started my firm, Small Business Real Estate Advisors,after being employed for 26 <br /> years in commercial real estate. I have been involved in a wide range of types of real estate developments <br /> working with most of the major development companies in the state. I found after all those years,my true <br /> passion was economic development focusing on businesses of 500 employees or less. <br /> New Brighton's ideal location close to both metro centers and at the hub of several major arteries and <br /> public transportation,close to the University of Minnesota, makes it an ideal place to live and work. <br /> Encouraging sustained employment and business growth as well as protecting and cleaning up its land <br /> and water resources is a worthy goal. That would be my goal should I be chosen to serve on any one of <br /> the commissions noted above. <br /> I have been a resident since 1986 and raised two daughters who attended local schools. I am a member <br /> of the Twins North Chamber of Commerce.
