Jobs Bill <br /> In 2010 the Legislature added a provision to the TIF Act to stimulate construction. The authority was temporary and construction had <br /> to start by July 1,2011 with funds spent by December 31, 2011. The City of New Brighton took advantage of this provision to assist <br /> with the construction of a 124-unit multi-family housing project with Stuart Companies on Block H of the Northwest Quadrant TIF <br /> Districts. The TIF districts listed below provided additional assistance through this provision for this project. <br /> • TIF 25—Lakeview South $160,071.14 <br /> • TIF 27—Ken's Market 51,222.77 <br /> • TIF 28—Rice Creek Center 510,093.37 <br /> • TIF 29—BCPII South(Soo Line) 9,070.70 <br /> • TIF 30—Brighton Village—Beisswenger's 469.542.02 <br /> 1.200.000.00 <br /> In 2011,the Legislature extended this provision for one more year.
