requirement set forth by NJPA, the City would have to provide roughly the same
employer contribution to permanent part-time employees that enrolled in the
single+1 and family plans that are currently being offered to all full-time
employees. If implemented, the projected cost to City would vary depending on
plan selection and coverage (single, single+1, family, and health savings account
contribution) that is selected by the employee. If all ten of the City's permanent
part-time employees elected to enroll in the City's health insurance program the
projected annual cost for the City in 2013 could range from roughly $83,500.00
(single coverage) to $120,000.00 (family coverage) per year.
